there is no way hanahan can get past the third round...unless they do something different than they did against andrew jackson, or either have the refs with them again

In the upperstate

Emerald hosts Batesburg-Leesville and
Walhalla hosts Pendleton

In the lower

Bishop-England hosts Wade Hampton and
Hanahan hosts Waccamaw

so in the spirit of the threads title I'd predict

a B-L/Walhalla upperstate championship (of course this prediction is as you would guess a tad biased)

and a

B-E/Waccamaw lowerstate championship.

I dont know bout those predictions...I think emerald will come out on top of batesburg and i dunno bout Walhalla and Pendleton
I'm also not to sure bout either of the lower-state games but i think if wade hampton brings their A game...They will win it and i hope they do..
As for Hanahan and Waccamaw, I'm not to sure about either one of them b/c Wacamaw didn't impress me too much besides their use of the field and i dont know much about hanahan..

The Hanahan-Waccamaw game is always a good one, and it really just depends on the day and who decides to come out and play. I am looking forward to it.

thanks Edisto_Goalie_4 we have already played them twice the first was a win by them in pk's 4-3 then we won the second time 1-0 in regulation. So this comming game should be a good game and could go either way.

There is no way Wade Hampton could beat BE, BE will be in control the full 90 minutes. Hopefully someone will give them a game in the lower state championship.

I think that Hanahan will win 3-0. Waccamaw is a good team but Hanahan has beat them before easily and can do it again. And I think that they are going to state.

Each time we(Hanahan) has played Waccamaw it usually has come down to the wire. We controled the first game for the most part and lost a heartbreaker in PK's. The second game was pretty even but we came out on top 1-0. This game should be a good one as long as we both come out to play Monday. I'm looking foward to seeing what happens.

I'm sick of reading this trash talk, especially from teams who have never played or seen Some of the teams they bring down. And, Edisto Goalie thanks for the "Compliments" and I apologize for Falsely inflating your ego with my overly nice remarks. I agree with O6 Hawk, can't wait to play tomorrow, Good Luck.

we have even less of a chance against BE if we come in already defeated. The last time that we played them we were winning at halftime which may have been luck but still i consider it an accomplishment.

not sure where in the playoffs they will fall, but Walhalla really impressed me in the Palmetto Cup. sure their games were losses but if you look at who they played and how close the games were, i believe they will be a team to be reckoned with. after coming out of a tough week they can make a strong run. good luck to walhalla, i think they can give the upperstate some great competition this year.

I really can't believe people have not even thought of B-L to represent the upperstate in the state championship. The past several years they have come really close but this year they have the team. They have a strong force up top between two quality strikers and a midfield that dominates every game...not to mention a shut down sweeper. They just beat BC 4-2 in which the locked down the center of the field. Emerald lost the only two players they had from last year(and B-L already defeated them in a scrimmage in which past emerald players were refs) and Walhalla graduated too many seniors last year to compete with B-L strong possession game. Just my thoughts

Emerald Wahalla B-L are always there at the end of playoffs. Are there any other 2A teams that have a chance to surprise teams in the play-offs?

Not sure where you're getting your information from Football Fan but in the BL-Emerald 'Scrimmage' none of the refs had ever attended Emerald.

They were former college soccer players who hurried to the game as a favor and help keep the athletes safe because otherwise the scrimmage would have been officiated.

Bishop England will be in the final (as always). The only thing to wonder is who they will be facing... Emerald and Wahalla seem to be the upper state favorites with Batesburg close behind. It all comes down to who wants it more with these three teams cause all are on the same tier. The only thing we have to wonder is will BE stay true to form and win state, or come out flat and let another team take it from them.
