so what is to become of northwestern's spring break tournament?

I don't know for sure, but I'd guess that since there was a coaching change that the tournament has died.

Northwestern is still planning on hosting a JV Tournament this year. Due to the coaching change, there is going to be a one year break in Northwestern hosting their Varsity Spring Break Tournament.

Northwestern has committed to play in the Palmetto Cup April 12-15 and we are very excited to have the Trojans and their terrific program in the tournament this year!

Super field for next spring's tournament. According to the 2005 Massey Ratings, the 13 in-state teams participating in the 2006 Palmetto Cup were all rated amongst the top 35 teams statewide last year, including four teams in the top 10.
