i deleted the post, to restate myself.

and im still here..

The parents were not directly cheering for the downed man.

Situation:

Jamal goes down about the same time irmo makes a good defensive play. The play is stop to attend to Jamal. Irmo players are cheering about the well played defence. I commented to an adult (mother?) that there was a player down and it is respectful to not cheer while he is down.. and she kept cheering.

i do not consider the students or parents of irmo high to be rednecks... i have a home in lexington. Irmo and Lexington didnt get the size they are by taxing the homes of the average joe.

i didnt say anything regarding that.. did i imply that.. as i look back on my post it does seem that way.

i didnt mean to make any relation between rednecks and social status/ income.
i apologize. nor in my earlier post did i say anything regarding irmo being rednecks, that was of soccerboy's imagination.
