What you said they did a LONG TIME ago happened to us(blackville) last year against GSSM in the playoffs. We had two 10 minute halves and we were on our second 5 minute half when a GSSM player crossed the ball into the box and one of their forwards got a foot on it and put it in. If there was still no score after the second 5 minute half then we would have went into pks. I think that this was a fair way of doing things even though we lost.
yeah, that happened to us this year when we played waccamaw in the second round of the playoffs...as a goalie, it was heartbreaking to go through all the overtimes and lose w/ only like a minute left in the last golden goal half :-(
Ours was so bad that the Ref already had his whistle in his mouth ready to sound the end of the second golden goal when he had to blow it for the goal. VERY HEARTBREAKING!!!
