Over the years SCSOCCER.COM has encouraged more parity-based scheduling for non-region games and we have taken the liberty of a holiday weekend to propose the following considerations when composing schedules for the spring of 2006.
These compilations are based on teams comparative strengths using the following criteria: geography; competitiveness; reputation; etc. We based these conclusions on the Massey Power Ratings (2001-04) and cumulative team results and trends since 1993.
We have broken down each division into a "theoretical table" of three leagues divided roughly along geographic lines. The top 40 teams are included in League One, while teams 41-80 are in League Two. League Three consists of all other teams.
LEAGUE ONE
Foothills -- Daniel, T.L. Hanna, Seneca, Wren
Metro Greenville -- Christ Church, Eastside, Greenville, Hillcrest, J.L. Mann, Mauldin
I-85 Corridor -- Dorman, Fort Mill, Northwestern, Riverside, Spartanburg
Savannah West -- Aiken, Emerald, Greenwood, North Augusta, South Aiken
Midlands West -- Brookland-Cayce, Chapin, Dutch Fork, Irmo, Lexington
Midlands East -- Dreher, A.C. Flora, Ridge View, Spring Valley, Sumter
Coastal -- Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, Socastee, West Florence
Lowcountry -- Bishop England, Fort Dorchester, Hilton Head, James Island, Summerville, Wando
LEAGUE TWO
Upcountry -- Easley, Palmetto, Pendleton, Pickens, Walhalla
Greenville County -- Greer, Southside, Southside Christian, Travelers Rest, Wade Hampton-G
Olde English District -- Boiling Springs, Broome, Byrnes, Clover, Gaffney, York
I-77 Corridor -- Andrew Jackson, Blythewood, Buford, Lugoff-Elgin, South Pointe
Mid-District -- Airport, Barnwell, Batesburg-Leesville, Newberry, Richland Northeast, White Knoll
Pee Dee / Grand Strand -- Carolina Forest, Georgetown, Hartsville, South Florence, Waccamaw
Port City -- Academic Magnet, Hanahan, Stratford, West Ashley
I-95 Corridor -- Beaufort, Bluffton, Colleton County, Wade Hampton-H
LEAGUE THREE
Area I -- Belton-Honea Path, Clinton, Dixie, Laurens, Ninety Six, Ware Shoals, West-Oak, Westside, Woodmont
Area II -- Blue Ridge, Chapman, Greenville Tech, Landrum, Union, Woodruff
Area III -- Chester, Indian Land, Lancaster, Lewisville, Rock Hill
Area IV -- Gilbert, Mid-Carolina, Saluda, Silver Bluff, Strom Thurmond, Swansea, Wagener-Salley

If you have any questions about who you should possibly schedule for next spring, please contact me via private mail or email at kevin@scsoccer.com.
This is also a great tool for formulating tournaments and such.
