Welcome back to civilization!

Where we last left off..our lovable hero was fresh off a brief stint in Canadia about the Niagra region.

The 6th was spent in Rochester - Rochester Institute of Technology, Lake Ontario, dinner at Biaggi's..then off into the wilderness again.

I-81 from Watertown to Ottawa.. BUG CITY.. land is very interesting..but you better keep the washer fluid full..

After breakfast at Al's in the outskirts of Ottawa ..it was off to the city. Ottawa is a great city.. made my top 10 easily.

 -
Canada's Parliament..yes..they have government there!

You can go up to the Peace Tower Carillon with very little security or hassle..pretty cool.

THEN.. we made the mistake of going East to Montreal.

 -
This is pretty cool..but this picture is the only good thing that came out of Montreal.

After struggling with directions..and finding NO parking.. and smelling this:

 -

Molson factory.. Montreal had to be left behind.

Driving through Vermont was one big Moose watching adventure.. that was about it.. nice countryside..but not much else going on.

If you ever want to really go skiing..without going to Colorado/Utah.. go to Littleton, NH and stay at the Maple Leaf Motel.. great ski lodge..

 -
Littleton Diner ..best breakfast I've had in a LONG time.

Drive through New Hampshire was pretty sweet.. despite the rain..
 -

Maine definitely would have been better with some sunshine.. they probably could work on their road signs a bit too.. got HELLA lost between Saco and Kennebunk.

 -
Portland, ME

..now I'm in Bedford, Mass. ..Boston, Providence, Connecticut tomorrow..ultimately ending up in DC.

Perhaps I'll step into a pub for Germany/Costa Rica.. we shall see.

Take it easy peoples.

Hope you're having fun.

Hey.. it's there for a reason!

I also don't allow myself to be locked in the car with the windows up for any lengthy period of time.

You always hear about people falling out of roller coasters and all that.. but no one ever tells you about the jostling deaths that occur while carouseling.

In other news.. the trip is almost over.. here in Gaithersburg, MD tonight..then back to Cola tomorrow..hopefully in time for BFC to dominate whatever poor soul we're scheduled to play.
