"L-E Dude" aka Jack Rozier is pictured in The State Newspaper today in their coverage of the Champs Sports Bowl in Orlando, FL. Jack is pictured playing the sousaphone as a member of the Clemson band. [Big Grin]

Yeah..what can I say..I'm a celeb..

I actually haven't seen the pic yet..but my grandmother says I look handsome [Roll Eyes] (don't know if that's possible while in a band uniform)

Anyway..since this thread is dedicated to me..I'll take full advantage of it.

What I'm up to:

Yesterday..flew out of Orlando back to Columbia. Missed a full day in a Disney park..but it's worth it. I'm in the Columbia airport right now ..waiting for my 11:30 flight to Reagan..that will connect me to Rochester. Staying in Rochester with my girlfriend till the 2nd. Happy/Safe New Year to you all...

I'm out.

Anyway.. for those of you that probably won't see snow this year. ..enjoy.

PLC integrity??? Where is there any integrity when schoolboy and $11.95 Steak are co-champs last year??
........

posted April 15, 2005 11:26 $11.95 Steak? Soccerboy? These guys are punks. Where do they live?? My W. Florence boys need to do some clubbing tonite. >> .......

And I lost last year to the punk schoolboy, benplippen?? The PLC should have higher standards than that. Even El Chico lost out in the early rounds last year, while the drunkard, Shearer, advanced?? When I take the Cup this year, I promise to fulfill my mission and leave this forum and all you alleged ballers forever, and join the badminton forum to take on all the shuttlecocks that reside there.

see.. you just aren't being fair sucker.

At the time..Chico hadn't revealed his super-elitist-economistic-thoroughism.. the merger talk changed a lot of things this year.. who knows what will happen in this year's PLC.. much of the old guard has fallen..and new blood has emerged.

You..despite your Nostradamus episode..are still the same old punk.. and though the prospect of you leaving is tempting.. I'd be a fool to just hand over the prestigious title..to someone so capable of..let's say "detraction"

..and..those of you with the "shuttlecock" experience.. no more trashtalk.

LE Dudeman,
Old punk????
You hear the forum multitude pronouncing that I should receive the Cup!
But.....OK... there....then, I will play by the rules. So I feel it may come down to me and the wise guru,Chico? If it does, I confess that I will not have the wisdom or intelligentsia or colorful charts and graphs to do battle with him. Yet, I do possess a superior Red Neck upbringing and a keen sense of foolishness. And I just may have to prepare a detailed statistical analysis (with black and white charts and graphs) of the prevalence of the Red Neck element within CESA.

Bravo Kickman! Great analysis even without the pie charts (I prefer the cake charts myself). I assume that is a percentage of the total posts in the forum history? You may also want to include an analysis of the total ppm (posts per month) from the date a poster registered. Of course, I would then KILL LEdudeman in that category. And then the quality of posts must be considered, which would eliminate many posters like Shearer, Chapinboy, Cokefan, AK47, beg4money (Registered Member
Member # 3133) posted December 07,2005:
<<No i can say Korn sucks because he isnt going to Carolina if he was going there then he wouldnt suck. I'm sure he is a very adiquite quarter back but he doent wanna go to carolina. So that makes him an Idiot>>,
and FEMA, among others. But it is LEdudeman's concept and game to run........so we must await his crude, yet awkward, method of determining the winner of the 2006 PLC. He may even give it to the punk schoolboy, benplippen. Who knows?
(Between you and me, I am also somewhat o'leary of LEdudeman's comments that "some new young blood has emerged this year"....could that maybe...be...taylorbabe??)

Wow, that was an amusing thread to read. I am pretty sure I will in no way be up for the PLC this year. I have had way too much going on to post a lot. I am on here a couple times a day to read what is going on, but find it more amusing to read what you all have written. If it will make 2004Striker happy, I will conceed my PLC trophy of the red plastic cup to him. Jack sent it via COD, it looks nice on my mantle. I guess the only way to get back into the running this year is to start attacking people....I did get a few people a little ticked last year. The one person deserved it, but oh well. I'll be lingering around in the background here for a while.

We(me) are actually negotiating with Home Depot right now as a potential sponsor for this year's PLC Cup.

I think everyone should just relax..there is a loooong way to go before PLC playoffs..or even the regular season. There will most likely be a few adjustments in the tally system..etc..etc.. all will be determined by me..in my infinite wisdom.

So..just sit back and relax.

The race for "THE GREAT CUP" is still weeks away..

LEdudeman,
I would imagine that CESA would come up with more cash. But if you get Home Depot to sponsor the Cup, maybe the cup could have some wood trim. Just a suggestion to make your most difficult job a little easier. I don't know how you manage the PLC all by yourself. When I ran the Red Neck League, I had all my red neck friends helping out.

Not right now. Maybe later.

But.. since you bumped this.

::clears throat::

Let's see..lately I've been enjoying my schedule this semester.

Mon/Wed class from 12:20-5:15
Tues/Thurs 3:30-4:45
Fri 12:20-1:10

Yeah..my schedule is awesome.. I don't use my alarm anymore.. I make eggs for breakfast and relax till I feel like showering.

I'm playing intramurals in Men's Advanced league with the Rowdy Rebels ..from what I can tell it's mainly Seneca and Daniel guys..throw in some TL Hanna and out-of-state players. We look pretty good I guess. Scrimmaged a bunch of guys from Summerville the other day.. and that was okay. Our first game is this Tuesday.

That's pretty much it. Good night kids.

Real Everywhere - 0 (Irmo Wash-ups)
Rowdy Rebels - 0 (Seneca/Daniel/TL Hanna/Me Wash-Ups)

Decent match for our first match. I was surprised that we played so passive. I had a little trouble staying back at fullback, but managed to mark my man well enough.

Next match is 10PM on the 7th against "Im With Search" ..let me know if you have trouble getting tickets. I'll hook you up.

Well folks.. ..this thread is here.. so I'm going to use it. It's pretty slow in the soccer scene.. so before the WC get started..I'll allow you regulars the pleasure of my photography.

 -
A pub in Hazelton, PA ..my dad made some joke about Andre Bauer here but I try to block those things out.

 -
Cayuga Lake just north of Ithaca, NY ..one of the many wonderful Finger Lakes.

 -
One of the MANY dairy farms in Central/Western NY.

..this next picture may come as a shock to some of you.

 -
It's called a Maple tree.. it's "deciduous" ..which means.. it doesn't have needles..and it changes color with the seasons.

 -
Apparently they're taking outside decor tips from The Stroke now.. ..nice touch.

 -
And lastly.. green grass. Not crab grass.. GRASS.

Just so this is somehow soccer related.. I read an article the other day in the car that profiled all 32 teams in the WC. That is all.

More later from Montreal..

Oh..but we've only just begun.

Today was an hour and 30min drive West to Niagra Falls.

It was my third time..if you've never been..you have to go.

 -
I'm probably due for a shave..but it's summer..can't be bothered with that.

 -
Niagra Butterfly Conservatory ..pretty cool random place.. 2,000 butterflies cruisin' around ..all the fun of birds without the poop.

 -
Maid of the Mist boat ride.. gets you pretty close to the falls. This is the "American Falls"

 -
Above the falls for some "scope"

 -
Horseshoe Falls - 64 million gallons of water a minute over those falls.

 -

..yup.

Welcome back to civilization!

Where we last left off..our lovable hero was fresh off a brief stint in Canadia about the Niagra region.

The 6th was spent in Rochester - Rochester Institute of Technology, Lake Ontario, dinner at Biaggi's..then off into the wilderness again.

I-81 from Watertown to Ottawa.. BUG CITY.. land is very interesting..but you better keep the washer fluid full..

After breakfast at Al's in the outskirts of Ottawa ..it was off to the city. Ottawa is a great city.. made my top 10 easily.

 -
Canada's Parliament..yes..they have government there!

You can go up to the Peace Tower Carillon with very little security or hassle..pretty cool.

THEN.. we made the mistake of going East to Montreal.

 -
This is pretty cool..but this picture is the only good thing that came out of Montreal.

After struggling with directions..and finding NO parking.. and smelling this:

 -

Molson factory.. Montreal had to be left behind.

Driving through Vermont was one big Moose watching adventure.. that was about it.. nice countryside..but not much else going on.

If you ever want to really go skiing..without going to Colorado/Utah.. go to Littleton, NH and stay at the Maple Leaf Motel.. great ski lodge..

 -
Littleton Diner ..best breakfast I've had in a LONG time.

Drive through New Hampshire was pretty sweet.. despite the rain..
 -

Maine definitely would have been better with some sunshine.. they probably could work on their road signs a bit too.. got HELLA lost between Saco and Kennebunk.

 -
Portland, ME

..now I'm in Bedford, Mass. ..Boston, Providence, Connecticut tomorrow..ultimately ending up in DC.

Perhaps I'll step into a pub for Germany/Costa Rica.. we shall see.

Take it easy peoples.

Hey.. it's there for a reason!

I also don't allow myself to be locked in the car with the windows up for any lengthy period of time.

You always hear about people falling out of roller coasters and all that.. but no one ever tells you about the jostling deaths that occur while carouseling.

In other news.. the trip is almost over.. here in Gaithersburg, MD tonight..then back to Cola tomorrow..hopefully in time for BFC to dominate whatever poor soul we're scheduled to play.
