I think lexington will win the state title this year. They look sharp so far this season. The only thing that could hurt lexington is the early season lose of Matt G

I heard that Lexington got pretty much dominated by Irmo, but Irmo missed 5 point blank shots. I don't see them making it to the state championship match. They are a decent squad though.

I'll pick Spring Valley for Lower State since they are loaded with a lot of the good NECSA and CSC players, although I won't count out Dutch Fork. I'm not sure that DF is going to be as dominant as once thought, though they still will be good.
For Upper State I'm not sure that SA will have the horses (no pun intended) to win upper or beyond. NW probably has the best shot of winning upper state although both Mauldin and Fort Mill look to be very strong. I'll pick NW by a hair.

The one... I was at the game. In my opinion it could have gone either way. Yes Irmo missed chances and so did Lex.Both hit woodwork more than once. Irmo was strong at the beginning of both halves, Lex was strong at the end of each and the OT.

No comment of who will win the whole thing as it is still early in the season.

CF... Lexington is in the upperstate and also has NECSA, CSC and LSC players.
