Ben Lippen scored first like in the first 10 minutes then Cardinal Newman scored like 3 after that. A few good chances later in the half by both sides. 2nd half cardinal newman scores of a header and leads for a long time into the 2nd half. Ben lippen equalizes with aound 12 or so minutes to go and then quinches the win with 6 or so minutes by some fancy juggling by one of their mid fielders or forwards. I am sure Benp will give a more acuurate analysis on the game though. It was really exciting to watch

Another Classic Ben Lippen Cardinal Newman Thriller. Complete with goals, red cards, yellow cards...the whole 9 yards. Ben Lippen's first goal came off a free kick from around midfield and was headed in, CN scored off a scrum in the box, and later on their own free kick from midfield headed in as well. Ben Lippen then capitalized on some new positioning, as former stopper Culbertson played up top, and punched in two late goals for the winner. In the first half, Justin Lambert (Ben Lippen's sweeper) fouled a Cardinal Newman player and they got heated, and both recieved yellow cards. Then, in the second half, a CN player was reaching to pick up the ball, when Lambert kicked it out of his reach, recieving his second yellow, and a soft red. Playing the remainder of the second half without one of their captains, it took alot of heart to come out with the victory as they did. Congrats BL, and best of luck tomorrow with Hilton Head Christian Cardinal Newman.

whsweeper, yes, the 3rd goal for Ben Lippen was pretty fancy. A couple of juggles by KC and a back-heal upfield for the assist.
