Just kind of curious what the deal was with the site today??

I know last time it was a "power failure".. just kind of odd that the site goes down during big tourney dates.

Jack -- The issue is increased traffic on the site. Kyle came home last night after the Palmetto Cup's opening day and found the site down. He had to buy more space for the site, but the "spike" was created by more traffic.

It's important that folks log off when they leave the site, because that contributes to the number of visitors being logged at one moment.

As a side note, if more folks would pay the $15 subscription or more soccer programs would pay the $50 subscription fee, more storage space could be purchased.

As of late last night the storage space was increased from 800 to 850 megs and this morning, with just several folks logged in, the site has 784 megs used. In short, traffic is way up considering Kyle started in January with 600 megs of storage space. But ironically, the subscriptions haven't kept pace!
