L-E 3
Chester 4

L-E was out aggressed and hustled on the ball for most of the first half resulting in a 0-2 deficit at half. Game was decided on a beautifully stuck free kick outside the 18 box by Chester. Congrats on the win Coach B. Brown. sb

i think the score of the Wando - WA game proved that indeed the first match up was a fluke. Blame the ref all you want, referees can't decided a 5-0 game...had it been closer then MAYBE you could make a case, but not tonight...

The refs had more to do with WA's win in the first game than they did in their loss tonight. Wando even had 2 goals called back.

A split is a split and I think any team in the state would take a split with Wando....JI will be trying for that on Friday....

Christ Church 2
Ben Lippen 1

Shots: 12-15
Saves: 5-5
Corners 1-5

Goals:
26th minute CC Rick Furman (Brearly)
53rd minute CC Michael Brearly (Furman)
71st minute BL KC Dunbaker (Peppin)

The game started out pretty rough for Ben Lippen, who watched 3 christ church shots miss by inches, all past the right post during the first half. spring break and senior week the week before that still hadn't worn off i think, but it's my understanding that christ church was in a similar position. Second half action started out with ben lippen being outshot 7-3, and I think the second half (1-1) was a pretty good representation of both teams playing good soccer. It was for the most part a clean game, i think 3 cards for ben lippen, and 1 for christ church. Dunbaker moved up top for the final 13 minutes of the game, and took a long ball directly at the keeper to finish it, while christ church scored off a corner and a one on one with the keep. I enjoyed the game, and although the trip was long, I'd love to have christ church jump in the scisa boat to make things more interesting, and add to what has been a 4 team dominated league.
