Dreher shut out Strom tonight.

However, kudos go out to the nine seniors for Dreher who had to leave 10 minutes into the match to be honored by Richland School District One as Academic All-Stars (ranked in the top 10% of class, a minimum of 3.5 gpa and no grade below C) and High School Scholars (4.0 in AAP or AP courses for all four years and no grade below C).

The players are Carl Anderson, Ed Smith, John McClam, Drew Leatherman, Benny Smith, Andy Egan, Daniel Touma, Thomas Thunell, and George Rushe. The men's team made up 18% of the students at Dreher receiving the awards.

Again, congrats to those guys and their familes.

HH-3
Fort D-0
Fort D played hard but HH was too much at home. Chris HH's sweeper sat out 2nd half with injury and our stopper who was playing Sweeper for Chris got red carded with about 19 minutes left in 2nd half. Good luck to Fort D the rest of the season.

You boys from HH are realy racking up the red cards. Maybe a little self control and discipline is in order!

No. First of all i dont speak spanish, second when the HH coach talks everyone listens. The players have a huge amount of respect for him, and i think it just shows the amount of respect that he has in return for his team being able to let them play without his interference.

The red card wasn't for roughness it was for pulling. The sweeper was the last defender and pulled the forward it was a good call. I guess all the hating comes with the ranking and it was wasn't a Spanish person who got a red Chuckie. The Hammer are you hating what team are you and who are both of ya'll to say anything you weren't there.

It wasn't in double overtime. Walhalla scored during the 1st overtime. (which is two 5 minute halves)

5-0, pretty dominant. Looks like Wando's trying to take back control of their region.

L-E was out aggressed and hustled on the ball for most of the first half resulting in a 0-2 deficit at half. Game was decided on a beautifully stuck free kick outside the 18 box by Chester. Congrats on the win Coach B. Brown. sb

i think the score of the Wando - WA game proved that indeed the first match up was a fluke. Blame the ref all you want, referees can't decided a 5-0 game...had it been closer then MAYBE you could make a case, but not tonight...

The refs had more to do with WA's win in the first game than they did in their loss tonight. Wando even had 2 goals called back.

Christ Church 2
Ben Lippen 1

Shots: 12-15
Saves: 5-5
Corners 1-5

Goals:
26th minute CC Rick Furman (Brearly)
53rd minute CC Michael Brearly (Furman)
71st minute BL KC Dunbaker (Peppin)

The game started out pretty rough for Ben Lippen, who watched 3 christ church shots miss by inches, all past the right post during the first half. spring break and senior week the week before that still hadn't worn off i think, but it's my understanding that christ church was in a similar position. Second half action started out with ben lippen being outshot 7-3, and I think the second half (1-1) was a pretty good representation of both teams playing good soccer. It was for the most part a clean game, i think 3 cards for ben lippen, and 1 for christ church. Dunbaker moved up top for the final 13 minutes of the game, and took a long ball directly at the keeper to finish it, while christ church scored off a corner and a one on one with the keep. I enjoyed the game, and although the trip was long, I'd love to have christ church jump in the scisa boat to make things more interesting, and add to what has been a 4 team dominated league.

Wando play very well tonight and we did not agjust to the playing conditons soon enough. No excuse for our poor preformance.. We have to play with the people that are avalible to us. Injurys happen to everyone. Good luck to Wando. Now we must try to heal up and finish out the region.

Wando's field is interesting, to say the least. It wasn't in bad shape when HH played up there, but the way the field drops off along each sideline is amazing. Teams that like to push the ball up the sidelines had better adjust, because it's impossible. Coach J, good luck with your injuries. HH has been going through the same thing. Having to play other players will make you better in the end and will tell you how much heart your team has.
