I wish. The pace of this match was cramping up my hand!
As for the comparison of the NW result. I saw that match too.. and I would have to say that the difference was in the midfield.
D-Dub couldn't buy a 50/50 ball against NW (though they certainly tried)..and they didn't have much more success against Irmo..but enough to keep them in the game.
Also, with the transition play of Irmo/Prince..often that left a lot of space in the mid for Seth and Sonesh to settle the ball and juke a recovering Irmo mid. Northwestern played the ball up from the mid/D so Daniel didn't really have much space/time in their match.
Both Daniel and NW play beautiful balls from the mid and make great runs..NW just did it better..and kept Daniel from doing it.
I will dare to say..that I don't believe enough has changed since the beginning of the year..that if Irmo/NW do meet at State. Northwestern will be able to score just as many..if not more than Daniel did (they have more even talent all over the mid and attack).. and their D is good enough to keep them ahead (not saying Irmo wouldn't score on NW..just not enough).
