The DF-Chapin game was a good one. A very hard fought game with both teams showing some heart and desire. But once again Chapin had the better of the play in the first half and should have had about 2 or 3 goals from a couple of scrambles in front of the goal and great saves by the DF keep (i think it was McCabe??). DF def. picked it up in the 2nd half though. DF last goal was the one i found to be a little questionable. It looked to me that Goulet just pushed the Chapin defender off the ball and some other parents for Chapin were yellin for offside (didnt quite see that) but nonetheless a great finish by Goulet and a great game for both teams. Good luck to both in the playoffs!

goulet did good to keep his hands down, and so i think the refs just saw it as a fair shoulder. but it did look questionable.

SV 4 South Aiken 2
It was closer than the score says. Flynn brothers dominated tonight. SV scored 2 minutes in, Sean Flynn easy finish off a cross from Eamon. 2nd goal was SV, Paddy Flynn settles for a shot from Eamon's cross. 3rd South Aiken got a decent goal from some hustle out of #6. Sean Flynn scores again not much later off of a header from a cross from his bro. #6 in the second half for SA puts in another decent goal off of a corner. Parker Arnold puts away Sean Flynn's shot off of a flic to put the game away. Good luck to South Aiken in the Augusta game tommorrow.

Congrats to Ben Lippen for a very well played game. The Falcons were very agressive the start and really controlled the game especially the first half. If the BL team I saw last night is the one that shows up during the playoffs they will be very , very, difficult to beat for anyone.
WH just did not bring the necessary intensity to the field last night needed to compete with Ben Lippen. Hopefully, the Baron will bounce back with a strong effort in their last 4 games.At any rate if anyone would have said Wilson Hall would be 12-2(6-2) at this point in the season I would happily take it, however I did expect a better effort last night.

Bob are you looking for Region 7? The game tonight could decide 1st place. If Wando wins the have first place on lock. If they lose that gives them 2 losses and JI will only have 1 loss in the Region. Then the game B/W WA and JI will determine the #1 seed. JI could end up 1st if the win the next 2 games. If Wando Wins then the are 1st, JI would be tied with WA so the game on Tuesday would decide 2/3 spot. Stratford will be 4th. Hope this helps.

If Wando wins then JI will have 2 region loss. We WA aready have 2. So the winner of the JI/WA game would decide 2nd and 3rd place. I had to look at the records again to get it right..... If should be a very intense game tonight.
