What's the definition of best? The coach who has the best won-loss record? The coach whose team wins the state tournament? While these are really easy to quantify, they don't necessarily show the whole picture. I think best includes being able to take a small group of interested players and turning them into a team, and doing it with class. (I'm not a fan of "in your face" soccer) In these parts, I'd have to give my vote to Coach Harloff @ Wilson.

definition of best coach is a personal opinion..some coaches may be looked at to be good when the team is just as good or better off without them but because the team has a good record the coach is looked at as a good coach..greenville is one of the best teams in the state and the only top team with one of the best coaches in the state..i think most of the other top teams in the state wouldn't suffer one bit without their current coach

I agree it is not really about a win loss record...Well maybe a little. But I would say a "best coach" is the one who has the biggest influence on turing a group of people into a soccer team. Greenville was always good. Finottii is good but how much has he really done there...
