Does anyone know the procedure for resolving regional seeds if two teams have identical region records? If Fort D. beats Summerville Tuesday, both teams will have identical region record with three losses. How do we break the tie?
I believe each region, or whoever is in charge, decides for itself. It's unique for each region, but all of the coaches in the region should know as it should have been decided on prior to the season.
on the same note...if two number 1 seeds should meet in the lower or upperstate playoffs, which team gets home-field advantage? Does it go to head-to-head or overall record or maybe even region record?
No good answers yet. There is still a very large possibility of a tie in regiion 8, 4-A either for first or second. does anyone remember this coming up in region 8 before?
it happened with HH and Summerville last year first head to head in both game HH won the first one 2-0 then Summerville did the same then RECORDS they were tie so they went to a coin toss
