It would simply be nice, if the tiebreaking proceedures for each region were announced, or written somewhere in writting. It seems like there have been a lot of ties this year, and seems like no one knows the tiebreakers for each region.
I think the tiebreaker should be aggregate score between the two games they played which would favor NW over FM by 3-1. That would be the most sensible for all regions since it would only not work if there was a three way tie.
Aggregate would be the best way. Nobody could possibly argue with that but what's done is done. FM wins the region, Congrats to them. I actually think this is beneficial to NHS. Their side of the bracket is easier in my opinion. FM has Mauldin and SA. NHS has Lexington and Dorman.

I believe the last time NW played on the road was 2002 quarterfinals at Dorman (eventual state champions) where they lost in OT.
I forgot when it was but its not like they were suppose to get home field advantage until the championship. A lot of it in the past had to do with #1 seeds getting beat and then NW being the next highest ranked team. So the same thing could happen this year if I'm not mistaken.
NW is used to playing on their large field, but going to other locations to play could throw them off a bit. Dorman has a small field and if they have to go there to play then it could be very difficult for them. I think that they will struggle a bit but I expect them to get to Columbia.
It's been a while since I was there, but the field is inside a track, and it seems both narrow and short. Throw-ins and any kick inside mid field can easily go deep into the box. If NW is used to playing on a large field with space they will have trouble with a tight field like that. They have already played Dorman at their field this year and they came out with a 3-2 win. Not a typical NW win. Dorman will need to get by Lexington first. Not an easy task.
