You can talk about NW being a bunch of club level players, but the fact remains, those club level boys have pretty much dominated every team they have played this year. Also how can you say that NW wasn't close to the same level as the Irmo 04 team? The game was decided on a controversial pk in overtime.

Dominate wasn't a word that came to mind when I recall the Fort Mill, Lexington and Mauldin games.

Which I guess brings us back to the discussion about the NW strength of schedule from several weeks ago. No disrespect to NW, I think they are going to win it, but dominate?? They are in for the fight of their lives tonight. The single worst thing anyone on NW can do tonight is to walk into that stadium thinking anything else.

curse, maybe on u. before coach f, northwestern had only been to upper state finals 1 time in school history, one time. in his 3 years there they make state finals twice and upperstate the 3rd year with 2 senior starters. he is a real coach and so is the current nw coach. curse, i hardly think so. the first year, irmo was better and the second as trojan 10 said they got screwed. this year we will see. by the way their jv the last 3 years has only lost 2 games and this years team was undefeated and only gave up 2 goals. they'll be back next year. strength of schedule what a joke! none of the players had anything to do with their schedule, they just showed up an won. in the playoffs, they went to greenwood, lexington, and mauldin and won, all on the road. who else had to do that? who else had to do that and advanced? and your answer is.....exactly, no one else. give it a rest, they are good and may be the best in the state. the final chapter will be written tonight.

I did not mean that they would dominate tonight. I think its going to come down to who wants it more. I was referring to most of the previous games this year. SV definetly has the potential to beat them if nw comes in cocky (which i'm, sure they won't.)

I think everyone missunderstod what i was saying:

- In no way am i saying that Finotti is a bad coach.

- Northwestern has been a strong team every year.

- The main point I am trying to make is Finotti could not get the state high school soccer championship trophy with extremly talented teams at NW and and extremly talented team at Greenville.

- The whole reason I bring this up is because he is such a good coach and yet he cant seem to do it.
