Best of luck to Midlands area soccer teams representing Columbia in the state championships this weekend. Good luck to the
Spring Valley boys, Irmo girls, Dreher boys and BC girls. Kudos to the coaches as well--Dave Clark, Heather Frederick, Richard Rowell and Lauren Hudgens who have brought their teams to pinnacle of high school soccer.
Also, congrats are in order to the other semifinalists from the Midlands--BC boys, Lexington girls and the Chapin girls.
This is an excellent showing from the Midlands teams. This showing also reflects the training and coaching that most of these young men and women have recieved from the local clubs--CRSA, CSC, Lexington and NECSA.

Sorry--forgot about the SCISA teams--have seen BL play this yeat and they are certainly a quality side who could hold their own in any class of Boys soccer. Best of luck to both BL and CN.
