Kyle,

Are there any requirements regarding the number of games played? It seems that a 16-2-0 record is rather minimul for 3rd place.

There are no requirements concerning the number of games played. Battle Ground Academy (Franklin, TN) won the Division II Championship in Tennessee and outlasted previously #1 nationally ranked Christian Brothers (Memphis, TN) 3-2 in a penalty kick shootout (8-7). They also beat a highly regarded Memphis University School team 4-0 in the State Semifinals.

All state coordinators submit their state polls to the regional chairperson and he/she tallies them up and has a conference call with a panel of coaches that are NSCAA members in that region. From there, the regional polls are made and submitted to the national committee.
