No offense or any particular refs because there are some really good ones out there but that the Dorman/SHS game for both Varsity girls and guys the center ref totally did not know what he was doing at some points. Other times he did a great job and I know that they can't see everything that goes on all the time. However, there were some more obvious things to be called but weren't and then some that shouldn't have been called that were...I was just wondering how refs are like chosen and how they have to be qualified first?

I agree with you that some refs don't know what they are doing...at the airport vs. newberry boys game the refs didn't have a clue what they were doing and that cheated the boys out of a win!!

The refs for White Knoll vs. Mid-Carolina game did a terrible job. They let the game get way to out of control, and the only card that was given was to an assistant coach. They totally through the pace of the game way out of wack. We have had some very good refs until that game though.

The refs for the BC vs. Airport girls game absolutly sucked...they cheated both teams out of a lot....they wouldn't call anything...one time a girl on bc did a high kick and bout kicked some girls head but he didn't call it, and when airport did a high kicked....they decided to blow the wistle...bc played a good game...but so did we..!! too bad we lost!! 2-0

Actually the Airport girls got away with alot more than the BC girls did. Might have been that one of the refs coached several of the Airport girls in classic. There is no place on the soccer field for refs who allow players to intentionally harm other players.

What player from airport intentionally hurt the other team...i think both teams were equal on foul play!

I am #11 and first of all you weren't down on the field so you don't know what was going on...i'm not gonna sit there and let some girls i don't even know push all over me and play rough....i did exactly what was done to me...you just couldn't see cause you weren't playing...i'm not trying to be a smart*** but i just can't stand when people think they know so much when they really don't know much at all!!!

Guess the refs just wanted to have conversations with you during the game and your coach just pulled you on and off the field because you were playing fairly?

You need to learn to play fairly and safely before you hurt yourself or someone else.

At our scrimmage against Airport, the refs were horrible! I mean...I would understand if the refs missed a few calls or even a few shoves. But when the goalkeeper comes out of her box and charges one of our players and puts her in a headlock...and nothing is done...you have to think somethings going on! Some refs are bad, and some are really good. It all just depends on who you get and what team they are cheering for!

Yea the refs at the AHS/Barnwell game were terrible...Barnwell had a girl rush their sweeper and the goalie rushed the girl and grabbed her to keep her from hitting the sweeper from behind...a handball was called....and barnwell missed...that same barnwell girl later decided to make a fist and take a swing...nothing was done....too bad barnwell didnt want AHS in their tourney....it would have been an interesting game

Yeah, all the above is prob true, but thank you Mr. or Ms. Ref for being there so we can have the game. The problem is the two man reffing team and the absence of consistency this brings. I sure wish the schools would pop for the third official so we could play real soccer.

YA'll haven't seen anything until ya'll saw the Lancaster vs. Ridgeview game. It was awful!! the refs were calling nothing. To proof that, we had a girl punched in the nose by # 23 and the ref didn't even call it. He saw it too b/c my coach said you didn't see that and he said I was sorry. How screwed is that???? We also had a fractured wirst and a bruised pelvis!!the refs suck is SC!!!!
