Does anybody know anything about Lakewood? I havent heard of them at all this year.

Hey, not a whole lot of threat from Lakewood this year. They have one or 2 guys up front who have ability enough to give you a pretty hard time, but other than that there's not too much to worry about.

LR and Crestwood both defeated Lakewood. I dunno anything about your soccer team, but there's not a lot of threat from LW.

Yeah...I play for Lakewood, and I'm the kind of person that doesn't lie to himself. I'm expecting to lose tomorrow. I'm pretty sure that White Knoll will be able pull out the victory...if not, good for us.

wfathead i applaud your honesty, most people get "fat heads"( lol ) and try to talk to their way through it. I admire your team though, you all play honest clean soccer.

But I give it to Lakewood, most teams start to play dirty when they get down. Lakewood kept their heads up and played clean the whole time.

I must post this: the score shown does not reflect the mood of the game. Our keeper had an off day and we just didn't click at all.
Also, I (#12) have to compliment myself on coming the closest to scoring for Lakewood. I'm not being arrogant, but I think my direct kick was sweet, and I'd like to think players from White Knoll agree. The goalie was watching it go right in, but it was a tad bit too high and hit the cross bar. Oh well.
White Knoll not only is a good team, but they are about the most polite team I've ever played. Their sportsmanship was something I've never seen before from an entire team at once. Good game to them and good luck in your season.

Thank you for your kind words. I think much of the credit should also go to the officials for calling a great game. Unfortunately, poor officiating can sometimes set the mood of the players and fans in a way that takes away from the game. Good luck this season Lakewood!
