If a coach has spent all of preseason focussing his team on beating one particular team, what happens in the last fifteen minutes of that game if his team is not winning?

1) Are you that Coach
2) What a waist of pre seasson training
3) sounds like he has a BIG point to prove to him self, and I hope he didn't take it out on his Team.

I am guessing! tell us more about it.

In response to Le Coach, I am not that coach. The game has not taken place yet. I will let you know how it turns out. I am concerned for the safety of the kids first. After that, I am perplexed as to why a coach one would do this. It could destroy the morale of a team very early in a season. I am a fan of good clean soccer! May the best team on that night win and all move on to successful seasons!

I think it's great to get your team pumped up for rivalry games. I see you're from Greenwood. T.L. Hanna has developed a fued over the past season (6-1, 2-1 pks, 2-1 playoffs--all to Greenwood). Our girls feel like beating Greenwood is a major step to becoming one of the stronger teams of the state. However focusing your entire season on one game (other than the state championship) is not the greatest move in the world to make.
