Which school has the nicest soccer facility, including the playing surface itself? I like a firm, low cut field where the balls runs quickly although with all the rain all fields are soggy. How many schools have a soccer facility seperate from the football stadium? I know all the Sumter Public schools do.Sometimes the field dimension are too narrow in a football stadium.
You probably already know about Memorial since the state championship games are played there, but the field is really nice. Well, except of course when it rains...then the field turns into a lake. It used to be better when Wilkinson was the boy's coach at Dreher and basically slept there, but it's gotten a little worse over the past two years. The neat thing about it is that it is the largest regulation size field you can have. And although, you're right about most fields that double as football and soccer have small dimensions...memorial widens the field after football is over.
When asked about the nicest facilities, i'd have to add the AOL arena in Hamburg, Germany. Its realy nice. The ground is firm, although the grass is not what it could be. 55,000 fans make it fun to play there too. Yeah, thats about it.
