I am glad the Lady Warriors pulled it out, but why did they have to travel this early in the playoffs? The State even mentioned something about how odd it was for two teams with records like WHS & DF to meet in the 2nd round?

yes you are right 2 teams that good shouldnt meet that early, but the seeds are set before the season starts, shouldnt take region games lightly, or u'll get screwed in playoffs

it just depends on how the regions are matched up. its possible that two very strong regions (like the ones that wando and dutch fork are in, i presume) can be matched up in the earlier rounds and therefore, allowing teams from a not-so-strong region to advance further than, in this case, dutch fork. wando and dutch fork werent both first in their region were they? because in that case, they shouldnt have met each other until atleast the third round.

W95 --

Wando (second place Region 7) played their first game at home against the third ranked Region 8 team. Having won that game, they were then seeded below Dutch Fork who won their first round game and were seeded 1st in Region 5. Wando will be at home tomorrow bacause they're playing the 3rd seed in Region 7, James Island. You're not used to Wando having to travel for early playoff games because it has been a very long time since Wando didn't win its region.
