Congratulations to Wando's Kelly McGinty, who has tallied 112 career goals for Coach Scott Ferguson's Lady Warriors and needs only 25 more to become Wando's all-time leading scorer. The current record of 136 goals scored is held by Claire Wigfall, who currently plays at the College of Charleston.
McGinty, who is also bound for the CofC and signed with Coach Kevin Dempsey's Lady Cougars last month, scored 20 goals as a freshman, 34 as a sophomore, and 36 as a junior.
Wando is currently 10-2-1 overall and ranked fifth in Class 4A.
