Congratulations to the Lady Eagles from Eastside for winning the AAA Region 2 Championship for the second straight year by defeating JL Mann 4-1.
Eastside controlled alot of the offensive play during the night but the halftime score was tied at 1. Good defensive work and some nice passes from Shea Bielby to Kacy Culbertson who was able put away 3 second half goals led to the victory.
I believe that has Eastside in 1st at 9-1, Greenville in 2nd with 8-2, Mann at third with 7-3 and Travlers Rest in the 4th postiton .
Great possible quarter final game in the making with Eastside going to the Riverside Reservation next Friday.
