The Eastside Lady Eagles dominated Broome from the kick-off scoring 2 minutes into the game on a long ball over the goalie's head. (Sophomore midfielder #18 Rice assisted by sophomore midfielder 34 Jenkins). This was followed by a goal by freshman forward #3 Bielby on a ball chested down in the penalty box by senior forward #13 Culbertson (:14). The rest of the first half goals were junior forward #11 Reader assisted by junior midfielder #9 Cirillo (:16) and then just before the half when #13 Culbertson laid a ball off to #3 Bielby who ripped the ball full stride and knocked the goalie's hands apart as the ball fell into the goal (:40).
The second half had the girls more relaxed and working on 2 touch passing which only tortured the Broome women. A summary of the goals:

The Lady Eagles played well, stringing passes and showing possession. Broome showed some spunk and will improve with their 6 freshman, 2 sophomores, and 4 juniors. Best Wishes to their only senior and goalie Liz King who got to play the field in the second half.
