Just curious to see if the underpaid, overworked, completely selfless gentlemen that run this site have found time for the girls power rankings...

No, we haven't compiled that information yet. If anyone has a free day to do so, simply go to the girls varsity schedules and type in every head-to-head matchup. It's pretty easy if you put it in a spreadsheet (Home-Away-Neutral, Score), so you can separate the data by columns.

Let me know if anyone is interested in doing so and I'll pass along the information to Kenneth Massey. Thanks!

Forgive me for being an idiot, but I understand the typing of head to head matches. However, the difficulty comes into play when dividing them into the afore mentioned "home, away, nuetral" categories. Would it be safe to assume that some simple marking such as an "H", "A", or "N" beside the game would be suffice?

Column 1 - Home
Column 2 - Score
Column 3 - Away
Column 4 - Score
Column 5 - Neutral (if necessary) "N" will suffice

Thanks!

Scrimmages do not count -- only regular season, tournament, and playoff matches count. Thanks for tackling this project!

Anything to repay the debt for having this website. Here is a problem I just ran into though: What happens when you are typing team A's schedule and list a match for team A against team Z--then list the match again while you are typing the schedule for team Z? Is this alright? It gets very difficult trying to remember which match up you already typed so I was hoping to just list them all so as to assure I have them all. This alright?

Again, it is much appreciated -- it's a lot more difficult to compile than it sounds.

However, you can't "duplicate" the same game, so that's imperative in the process to eliminate duplication. Like I said, it's a tedious and laborious process -- good luck!

Well, all of the 4A upstate done. Only 4 million more games to go. Anyone curious in helping a hair so as to see the girl's power rankings a little quicker? How about you Finotti? Lapf? Swimmer1? Foley?

I wish I could make the time to help but unfortunately just can't -- hotdog sales being very seasonal and Summer being the busy season. Your efforts are appreciated.

AAAA girls are now complete. Smooth sailing from here. Kyle & Kevin, I should have this done in two weeks. How quickly after I submit will the results be posted?

It's usually a quick turn-around once the data is submitted to Kenneth Massey ... Remember, he has an algorithm already made, so all he has to do is import the data (which, as you can testify compiling, is the hard part of this scenario) ... It usually takes about a week ... Thanks again!

Coach, football season has kicked in and halted my progress. I appreciate the help. Send me an email and I'll give show you what I have. From there you can knock out A and the private school league.

coach, the point is that I have heard you do a lot for soccer in South Carolina. The listing of your name was a reach at best, but one that could have possibly yielded some help. I figured (notice I didn't assume) if I made my quest for help as broad as possible, surely I could find one knight in shining armour. Either way, I look forward to attending next summer.

No, I'm guilt ridden for having left you out there with the whole Massey thing by yourself.

ps: I did have a vision. In the vision I was visited by a fairy with golden wings who told me that I would only be allowed to post 1001 times on SCSoccer.com. This, of course, means I will have to restrict posts to matters of utmost importance and may need to make individual posts longer. In retrospect it could have been a small angel rather than a fairy. I have a hard time distinguishing between the two.

I see what you're doing. You're trying to draw me into frivilous conversation and waste one of my remaining 369 posts. That's ok. I can deal with my own mortality.

Green. I'm pretty sure they were green. No visible pixie dust and the flying pattern was not as much like a hummingbird as in Disney's version of Peter Pan. Must have been an angel.

You do realize this is our last year together? Spend frivalously like an American in Eastern Europe for once its gone...weeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrr...weeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrr...wooooooooooooo

For those of you trying to sound that outloud, that is the sound of wind blowing away things into the past/Ivan outside my door the past day and a half.

I like your attitude. I'm actually raising a 7th grade stepdaughter that should keep me around SCSoccer.com for a few more years, though there will be a bit of a HS lull for me after this season for a year.

I can see where this is going. No, I don't think it is in the best interest of soccer if your step transfers here. She'll just have to stay put. Now, back to the Viking Cup: My chips are in and I am picking Middleton to win it all.

Miss me?
I too have been negligent on posting. Summer's warm waters have me spending all my time in the water.
I have to admit to limited mental capacity and not being able to keep up SCSoccer.com as I have picked up new interests.
