I think most of the participating teams take it seriously. If you don't think so, just watch the competitiveness of the matches. Certainly there are teams without solid rosters yet. There will be girls trying their best to impress the coach. That's what the pre-season is for. There are other teams that have starters still playing basketball. Regardless, I believe that most teams out there want to do their best and get the season off to a solid start. No one wants to be embarrassed, even in a pre-season tournament.
