I here what you are saying and it does not look good for RV if DF wins tonight (we will have to wait and see) if DF takes a loss its a wash the top 4 are set, so DF has their destiny in their own hands.

However, watching Irmo Play SV last night, I would say they are a good team, but their is really about a split hairs difference between the top 5 teams in that region, and Irmo has had and still has the momentum.

My point wasn't that SV shouldn't have won, the point was simply that there is a pretty even distribution of talant between those 5 teams. Irmo seems to be the stronger team when it comes to will to win, beating RNE in OT, and now SV in OT etc.............

I wouldn't predict the outcome of the final places in this region for $1,000,000.00. But it is fun to watch

Is Hurst talking boys soccer on the girls thread? It looks like he is turning on the loyal girls posters by bringing boys discussions here.

Answer to your question, No. A result is a result.

Secondly, did you not always talk about FM boys as having injuries. It was an excuse then, but if the FM girls have an injury, you dont want it out. Are the boys not listening on the girls thread?

High school boys coaching spies are everywhere...even this petty girls soccer message board. They're just waiting in the shadows for a tiny morsel of information that could take their 3-13 team to certain victory over a top 10 squad.

No agenda....just hypothetical.

Every team is beat up this time of year....not just FM boys & girls. No excuses, let the records stand for themselves.

DDF,

Yes, I admit my foolishness in trying to predetermine outcomes of Region V games that haven't been played yet. Every time I think I know how a game will turn out, I'm wrong. I'm conflicted about the 2 remaining Irmo/RV contests. I would like to see Irmo lose their "Region Undefeated" status, but that's just a cross-town rivalry thing. They are a great team with a great tradition, which makes them worthy of disdain. On the other hand, I would like to see RV lose both, so that they fall to #5 and the seeds are set. I know there is a match between these two tonight, but when is the rainout rescheduled? DF plays their last regular season match tonight, so we'll probably make an appearance at the last RV/Irmo match, whenever that is.

In this game both teams looked tired to me, I was expecting more team energy in the game but all in all it was a fair match.

The match was pretty even most of the way through with Irmo having a 3-5 minute burst that netted in 3 goals from the left side after trying the right side most of the game with no success.

Irmo is a good team, but there are some weaknesses however they do a good job of protecting them. It will be interesting in the playoffs again, that is a entirely different beast.........
