I guess I have to take it as well as I give it.

JI Lady Trojans overcame an inspired Wando defense to win 1-0. The wind played a significant factor. JI took advantage of the wind in second half to finish off an excellant
cross from about 25 yrs out. Clark volleyed in the shot.
Wando defense is rapidly improving. They still need to put more offensive pressure on the opposition.

Kudos to Ms. Clark.....save a few of those for this fall.

Goals are like the loaves and fishes from the Bible. The more you turn out the more there will be overall. Ms. Clark (otherwise known as Big E) doesn't need to save them. Go James Island!!!

But obviously I'd much rather see her sticking them into the back of the net for Newberry this fall, as opposed to burying them in the old onion sack against FM (should the Lady Jackets & JI be so fortunate) in a state final.

in 2002 - Wando swept JI and WA but lost in the play offs.
in 2003 - Wando swept JI in regular season but lost to them in playoffs.
2004 - West Ashley beat Wando twice but then lost in playoffs.

My prediction? WA can't beat JI three times this season, and they won't lose to Wando three times this season. JI can beat Wando three times this season. So there, go and work with that. WA hasn't peaked yet. (Closer to their center they are, but not yet there.)
