Are you the cat who scored like, 51 goals last year? We've got a guy who has 24 goals so far, but as a team we have like, 42. He sure does help our stats as far as assists, though. [Big Grin]

Are you referring to the German exchange student, Stephen Busch? He broke a national record for goals scored in a single season...that was two years ago.

Edisto's kurtis evans has around 25 goals, that should be around the top of the list. he led all scores in the state last year. keep in mind that is with triple coverage at the least.

Think of the skill of the three defenders.

Let me tell you about Kurtis Evans. He gets no respect, all-state as a freshman and simply overlooked by the politics at the all-state meetings. Oh L-E dude, Edisto would put a hurting on L-E. Kurtis Evans was also the best place kicker in the state this year too. It has been a pleasure for us to play against this great player for 4 years. web page

What position does that kid kurtis play? we(Pendleton) have a center mid who is a junior this year that has 23 goals. Has anyone seen a guy from Walhalla named Ethio(spell??) play? he is a good forward, and i wouldn;t be surprised if he didn;t have a lot of goals.

Kurtis plays center forward, but he also runs back on defense, he is usually with the ball. Thanks AAman for giving Kurtis some props, at least someone other than his teammates respect him. It seems as much as coaches double and tripple team their players on him that they could give him a vote for all-state, but of course its politics.

Okay I was just saying...the people triple teaming him probably weren't very good. I didn't diss him..he probably is good. How would you know if you could put a hurting on L-E when you haven't played anyone better than you? The best team you have played..is yourself. If you get what I mean. So we have nothing to compare to here. Until you guys get in a tourny or something and play someone that anyones heard of..it will just be a mystery.

What year is Kurtis Evans (JR) or (SR)?

First of all I am speaking about Kurtis from edisto from when I played against him last year. He is a very talented and skilled young player with alot of goal scoring potential but to me he seems to lack that "team" feeling. It seems instead of playing against edisto it was the Kurtis's show. I would take a half-way decent person that plays with a team than him anyday, but who knows maybe he has changed but I am doubting it.
