The West Ashley Lady Wildcats, Region 7's #3 seed, would like to announce their "Doin' it the Hard Way '05 Tour". This series of games will begin in the inhospitable confines of Richland Northeast's home field at 6pm on Monday, 5/2/05. Future venues to be established later as per Lady Luck or personal determination.

If any team can do it...

Play at RNE is not inhospitable, but almost unplayable. One of these years it might be nice for RNE to have a more than not adequate playing field.

so WA start your excuse making here.

..since when does RNE have a bad field?

The suface itself is not too bad, but it is poorly lit and although they have added the new bleacher (1) they could use one or two more.

Just an observation

RNE field...doesn't it have depressed "bare spots" ..(kinda looks like football practice field where the turf doesn't have a chance)?

Seen worse tho...and the grass there in general was impressive! Nice surroundings, and the recent night FM played there it was great to see activities going on all around the soccer field.

West Ashley will certainly earn their trip to Columbia. A team this good should not have it so rough. You'll be battle-tested, but hopefully not weary.

Hopefully they (RNE) won't turn on the sprinklers just before game time and fill the low bare spots with water. That was our experience there earlier this season.
