We played Waccamaw on Tuesday and I was quite impressed with their play. They were skilled, well-organized, and intelligent. I was impressed and enjoyed coaching against them. Their players had heart and intensity but above all their had good character. They are a good bunch of kids and Ben is to be commended. Best of luck to them.

Once again I can't believe the gall of this rsoccer guy...have you even played Waccamaw?? Your profile says you support Riverside. Are you even a player?? I think not...I think from here on out everyone needs to ignore your postings. You are obviously just an antagonist. Go Away!!

Before the season on this message board a lot of people were talking about Waccamaw's weakness being their keeper. Is this true? Any opponents or those who have seen WHS play have anything to say about this? Also, who should we look out for?

Yeah, at the beginning of the year we (WHS) felt that the loss of last years excellent keeper would be hard to overcome. But our new sophomore keeper Derek Hollis has come along really well and we feel that with him and a few other additions to our team we will be able to compete for and hopefully win a State Title. But it is still way too early in the season to tell.
