I am looking build a Varsity Warm-up CD. What are some of the best warm-up songs?
Remember that they will be played at a school so the songs can not be overly suggestive, racists, or sexists.
Some of my favorites:
1. Welcome to the Jungle (Guns N' Roses) 2. Lose yourself (Eminem) 3. Paradise City (Guns N' Roses) 4. Ordinary (Train) 5. Lay your Hands on Me (Bon Jovi)

I generally never got/get into "warm-up music" ..but.. sophomore year..we went to Georgetown for a playoff match.. and..not only was it 95+..not only did the place smell like a giant heap of crap..BUT.. they played O.A.R. as "warm-up" music. It was absolutely miserable.
Also, I'm about sick and tired of Guns N' Roses being played at sporting events..
I have no suggestions for this thread..but I'm more than happy to critic!

Well..I'm just more into the obscure.. I'm not sure if anyone would even know my suggestions.. but.. what the hell..
Coheed and Cambria - Everything Evil Deftones - Be Quiet and Drive Mindless Self Indulgence - Golden I Jedi Mind Tricks - And So It Burns Saosin - Lost Symphonies The Blood Brothers - Cecilia and the Silhouette Saloon Thrice - A Living Dance Upon Dead Minds Thursday - Porcelain
..that would get me thoroughly "pumped" ..order doesn't matter.

Shearer, I'll admit that I actually had to google "Feelings" to come up with Morris Albert.
L-E, I actually played O.A.R.'s live version of U2's Sunday Bloody Sunday during halftime of a FMHS girls game this past spring.

Sorry Hurst66 but a few of the Fm girls were over and said that if you play that at half time they were going to hurt you and your feelings, break your heart and kick you into the night!!!

Jack, as you knew i would. I love the first song on your list. But being a faithful ben lippener, i can't imagine a warmup cd without switchfoot's This is your life.

FM, those girls have no musical taste, that's why they leave it up to me.
lpaf, LG&M - "The Bleep Has Hit The Fan!"....and Werewolves (live version) "He's Looking For James Taylor!".
L-E, download that version, it's not bad.

Excitable Boy?
Yikes, Hurst and realmccoy are making me nervous. We have a collection of Warren Zevon freaks in Fort Mill.
Zevon's rendition of Raspberry Beret.....

This got resurrected from 2005? I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now.

"Lawyers, Guns and Money" has a great beat for warm-ups, and it's only one little bleepin' word... It's not like playing "Happy Trails" or something really offensive

Chapindad - mine is a senior this year on the Chapin Varsity squad and if any of those 5 you have listed are on their warm up CD she will blow a gasket!
I'm going to tell her you did it!
