Yeah...haha..that is a bad one too.. I don't understand the Ridgeview mascot. Its a blazer...but they have a horse on their helmets and stuff. Is a blazer some kind of horse that I've never heard of?

a blazer is a horse. and the dumbest mascot i seen or heard of is the green knights of west florence. i mean come on "GREEN KNIGHTS"?

My vote is a big tie for any mascot that is a little insect with a stinger i.e., yellow jackets, hornets, wasps or whatever. A little bug isn't exactly what i would want to represent me. The teams that have these mascots are great i.e., irmo and aiken high, but their mascots are pretty pathetic. They need an agile, strong beast such as a t-bred. That is the best mascot.

i would have to say that the diamonds are the weirdest mascots, i just dont understand. but still, it is very unique. i think that my favorite mascot is the demon, though. props to l-e

Thanks dude..I like our mascot too..its not as generic as a Devil but its still demonic and cool. But yeah...The Purples..thats pretty gay. I don't really understand that mascot..I wonder what kind of suite the person wears for that team? Insects are kinda dumb but they are classics so you can't knock em'.

you can get by with a horse mascot, but use a different term i.e. broncos, colts, blazers, mustangs...thouroughbreds just doesnt sound intimidating but if you live in aiken you'd understand the purpose of why their called the t-breds

I think the "Green Knight" can be considered an allusion to Arthurian legend. There is a story about Sir Gawain challenging a green knight. The worst mascot is a "Trojan"...Bust the Trojans is a favorite mock cheer whenever our football team plays HKT.

Believe it or not Lower Richland was the Hornets for a long time, then somewhere along the lines the school Band was phenomenal with like a 300 member band, and the director's name was Jim DIAMOND. Everyone started callin the band "Diamond's Hornets" that got catchy to someone, so our school became the Diamond Hornets, and eventually hornets just fell off the end of the name....but the school is starting to bring back the hornet part. (hence my name Hornetstryker) Insects sounds gay, but Hornet, sounds phat, yellow jacket is kinda wussy though.

its the not the mascot that represents the team, its the players and the coaches. so irmo has yall beat. so stop bragging and putting down mascots, you sound like 6yr olds

Nah, stryker, unless you're from the Midwest or something "hornet" doesn't really bring fear to one's heart. And yes, being called a "diamond" is just as pussy, so you have to choose the lesser of two evils. Bring back hornets.

Hornetstryker..thats pretty interesting. I wish I knew where some of these other schools got their mascots. Cause some of these mascots are pretty messed up. Talk about powerful, strong, and fearsome..thats a Demon. A Bruin is just a different word for a bear. But bruins are cool too.

You all have to agree that the NMB CHIEFS are have the best mascot!!! All this lions and tigers and bears stuff isnn't cuttin it! OH MY!!! Go Chiefs!!! Ashley and Abby holdin it down!!! #15 and #3 baby!!!

You gotta be kidding me. Thats probably one of the worst mascots. Its just kind of cheap and boring. Mascots like the Braves, The Cheifs, The Redskins, anything that has to do with Native Americans is retarded. Why not name your team the Conquestadors? I know schools like Socastee and NMB are good..but I think whoever chose the mascot for your school could have been a lil more creative.

Hornet-Any variety of strong-bodied social wasps capable of inflicting a severe sting. (Ouch! tweezers, fly swatter and a can of bug repellant please)

Cavalier- A horseman;knight. A lover;escort;gallant. (prom date maybe, but not so scary as a mascot)

Diamond- A mineral of great hardness and refractive power. When pure it is a valuable gem with a beautiful display of prismatic colors. (prismatic colors?? hmmmm...stick with the gem LR, it's better than the bug)

Demon- An evil spirit;devil. A wicked or cruel person. (So, it's like playing a whole team of Chemistry teachers??)

Bear Cat-The Panda. (How cute!! Only thing better would have been a Koala Bear!)

Viking-One of the Scandinavian warriors who harried the coasts of Europe from the eighth to the tenth centuries. (Long boats have been replaced by S.U.V.'s and it's called annoying now instead of harried.)

Yellow Jacket- Any variety of social wasps with bright-yellow markings. (not pale yellow or happy daisy yellow...just bright yellow..k, got it)

Blazer- A lightweight jacket of flannel or silk in vivid colors, usually worn in outdoor sports.
(Ha! Ok, I looked really hard to find a horse associated with this...maybe I need a better dictionary)

Silver Foxes- The red fox of the U.S. and Canada, in that color phase when the pelage (coat or fur) is black with interspersed silver-tipped hairs.
(makes me want to watch Animal Planet)

Bruin- A bear, especially, a brown bear. (as opposed to a silver one)

What is my mascot? I guess that would be the mascot of any team NOT listed on the 1-10 slots in the rankings. Whether it is a KNIGHT with battle scared armor, a DIAMOND in the rough, a GATOR whose bite has yet to be felt, a DEMON whose spirit shines bright, or a mighty BRUIN always on guard. I cheer the loudest, the longest and the hardest for ALL the underdogs who play the game.

OK LE-loser DON'T HATE!!! The Chiefs definitely are the best. We represent a community of people who strive for the best and are the best! And to my knowledge didn't Native Americans banish all sorts of Demons back in the day? Our mascot represents out area perfectly!

just to enlighten those who are a little slow and didnt bother to actually ask what a blazer is..i go to rv it is a wild horse like a mustang

except a mustang is a male wild horse and a blazer is a female wild horse

Not puttin Blazers down, but a Man playing as a female horse with purple colors isn't exactly HAPPENIN ,lol..... unbiasedly i would say the best mascot is a Falcon (even though i dont really like Flora) there's nothing negative you can say about it...it can fly at 200 mph, rip flesh to pieces with its sharp talons, and no queer Bruin or Chief, or Blazer or Demon, or Yellow Jacket, or Silver Fox or Viking can come CLOSE to touching it. Plus even at incredible speed, it still flies with incredible grace, even when it gets ready to rip the $H!T out of its prey.

i have to say the shamrocks of eau claire is a pretty gay mascot. I have to give the best mascot to that intramural college team over in colorado that has been on the news lately. The Fighting Whities. Heck Yeah!
