First: Congrats to Dutch Fork on their win against SV last week, and to Irmo for victories against RNE & Lakeside (GA.)
Second: There was a meeting this last weekend between Coach Sylvia and Coach Mauldin concerning issues I brought up last week in my Kudos & Criticism post last week. Explanations and apologies were made by both sides and as far as I am concerned the matter is over with. I have no axe to grind with Dutch Fork's soccer program. In fact with the exception of 2 matches a year(or any matches I may be refereeing)I root for Dutch Fork. My daughter has played with almost all the Dutch Fork players at one time or another, and I have rooted for and have watched all these girls since they were in grade school; I only wish them success. If I offended any of those players with my remarks I apologize. My only mission is to advocate good sportsmanship.
