if my memory is correct. wando defeated west ashley 5-0 in the regular season in 2002, but west ashley went and won a WELL deserved state championship. i dont think its safe to say "The lower state representative has been decided". Plus, james island did defeat wando. so let me hear your reasoning Hurst66.

it means that it was no fluke, losing 5-0 against wando and then going on to win a state championship. The state championship versus Mauldin was an amazing game of soccer to watch. Anyone who makes it to the state championship earned it, so yes, WELL deserved.

Upper state hands down? Geez, have you not been looking at history? No matter how solid an upper state team looks, how many weeks it holds the number one spot, how many unbelievable players they have on their team...they don't win the big one.

i agree Aiken, truefan must be a newbie to 4AAAA soccer. the power is still in the lower state.

no one really knows whats going to happen in may. slates will be wiped cleans and records start again at 0-0. maybe WA will become the george mason of HS soccer... or maybe the upperstate will shine through. no one will know until monday after next....
