Congratulations to Northwestern. To play that closely with a very fine Mauldin team shows how well they are playing. They have steadily improved during the season and could be a tough match-up for anyone during the playoffs.
Looks like a great match between woodruff and Emarald. It is ashame about the loss of thier player. I know who you are talking about and she could have been the difference maker going down the stretch. I think it was great to here that the other players stepped up and this should be a real confidence builder for them the rest of the year. Is it true that woodruff only has one senior and she is a defender?
Woodruuf has a senior at sweeper—all else returning—and a few solid fresh coming in— OBVIOUSLY my comment was about the best 2 teams in 2A/1A—I guess I should have noted that—This board fields many silly comments—But I know that the top-rated 4A and 3A squads are far superior to Woodruff—Who has 3 top players but many starters who play only duirng high school—Compared to bigger schools fielding virtually all club players—
