joe,

After 3 kicks with one team making all of them, and the other making none, why would you continue to kick more?

i attended the game on an impartial behalf so here is my summary. WA pretty much dominated the pace of the game aside from the beginning of the 2nd half. they outshot ji by prob 10 to 12 shots but jus couldnt find the net. WA defense did a tremendous job shutting down kelly gosnell who might have had 5 touches on the ball the whole night. but the WA defense could only do so much to protect an inexperienced goalie. the first goal was by WA it was a run down the left wing by kala stockman and crossed across the 18 to savannah ? who slid it in right past the keeper in the first half. then JI's first goal came a lil bit later when the ball was boucin around at the top of the 18 and the WA goalie came out and aimee levine chipped over her head. Then in the second JI struck again with a sick stike from kelsey riggs from about 25 yards out upper 90, it was pretty nice. The final goal came in the last 3 mins of the game it was another cross from the left side into the 18 and i believe it was eliza rodrig who slotted it past the keeper. WA put the pressure on very hard in the last 20 mins of the game and it payed off. they had a tremendous number of dangerous chances, especially candace jordan but all were thwarted by the JI keeper who played very well. Overtime was as uneventful as always and WA definitely needs to practice PK's b4 every JI and Wando matchup. i dont even think they have a set line-up or anything. it was a very anticlimatic end to such a great game.

OldRef was probably an official and the root of many of the problems in this one. OldRef has an uncanny way to dictate games like many of his black-shirted brethren!

I guess all my misdirection over the years paid off. W & E is right, my favorite team is Wando but I will always pull for the Region 7 team to win state. I did not attend the JI WA game but look forward to the play offs beginning.

I always thought your misdirection on the boards was a true work of art. My niece played on the WA team for a while and even she did not know who you were...

I didn't want my favorite players to suffer from any association to my comments. But I really do swim. Outdoor swimming may start today! brrrr.
