L-E lost to RNE last night in what some would call a soccer match. Goals came frequently ending with a total of 5-8. L-E was really hurting from the loss of starting keeper Jason Dixon. He got in a car reck yesterday morning and could not make it to the match. The first half was awful L-E had many chances and it just seemed like RNE connected on every shot they took. Half-time score 5-1. The second half the demons came out a little sluggish but it didn't take long for us to connect. Scoring 2 goals to bring us within 2. Then the rest of the match was you score one, then we score one. The match included all the usual bad calls that have followed the Demons to every game this season, it also included a near riot when a player from RNE supposedly called. Forward Matt Harris a bad word. I think some of those guys were really KKK memembers. So anyways..the match sucked and we lost.

The Aiken-North Augusta game was well fought. Aiken went up 1-0 on a goal 5 min in and then NA answered with a pk goal to tie it up 1-1. With about 4 min left in the half Aiken scored again making the score 2-1. Within 30 seconds of Aiken's goal NA comes down and scored from a shot at the 18 yard mark. Now making the score 2-2 and then the half time whistle rang. The second half was scoreless, but both teams had many chances. Aiken and NA went into overtime. The first overtime NA scored a good goal about 2 in. Making the score 3-2. With about 1 minute left in the second overtime Aiken scored a goal to tie it up 3-3. The pk's were about the same. Aiken would score and then NA would score. It went into the tenth shooter before Aiken could pull out the win.

FINAL: Aiken 3 North Augusta 3
Aiken wins in (pks)
