i think the s aiken girls showed a lot backbone this year & should be proud. next year will be bettr & well get out of 1st round

It looks like Mauldin has a bit of gamesmanship going on here. Looks like they actually won 5-0 but don't want to let that out.
I hear it was even reported in the State Paper as 1-0 but here at scsoccer.com they are showing it 5-0 which makes more sense.
In any event we'll all see in a few hours who's who. Hopefully it will be a good game. I expect a physical match from Mauldin.
I agree, SA was coming on strong at the end. We saw that in the second game between Lex and SA

To stop Lex, you have to score against Lex.
To stop Lex, you have to outscore Lex.
Neither can be done!

Mauldin played Greenwood last Thursday, 4/27 and defeated them 5-0. The game was reported to the Greenville News but not to scsoccer.

Mauldin defeated Greenwood 1-0 on Monday.

I had email contact with the Greenwood coach after each match due to the assumption that Westside would face Mauldin in the first round rather than Dorman. The playoff score is correct, 1-0. But the 5-0 match should also be added on 4/27 to scsoccer's scoreboard.

Does anybody know the J.L. Mann vs Union score from Monday night? It is obvious they won from the fact that they are in the second round, but I can't find a score.
