A couple of surprising results in 4A. Can we get a game report out of somebody? Hasn't been much noise on these boards from Irmo and Dorman all season. Lex and Wando....give me your take.

LF, deahler and Chico,

I'd like to get your perspective, from the openning whistle to the post-game handshake.

Hurst66: In my opinion, Dorman played a great game and deserved the win.

Chico. Why so brief? I know it hurts, I've been there two years in a row now. Somebody muster enough energy to hit the keystrokes and tell me about the match.

Hurst66: Actually in no pain this morning at all; I'm proud of the Lexington team for getting into the final four when two years ago they were unranked and this year came into the season ranked #9. As I said all year, Lexington continues to be young...and their inexperience showed last night while Dorman did an excellent job. I think Lexington exceeded all expectations coming into this year -- and I believe that Lexington's coach should be considered for coach of the year given the unexpected excellent results of this team.

But in the last thread I told you why I didn't participate much in talking about teams -- and that thread was the actual embodiment of why I don't do it very often.

I'd like to nominate Fort Mill coach Jim Finnerty for COY. He wins with class, he loses with class. His 2005 team lost to WA in the state championship in what many people have said was the greatest girls high school game they have ever seen. His 2006 team lost at Lexington in the state quarterfinals in what many people say was the best high school girls game they saw all season.

Dorman? Irmo? Wando?

Hello Wando?
