The inaugural Brookland-Cayce B-Team, under the direction of Coach Ashley Hartin, has notched its' first winning streak ever as the Bearcats downed the Hammond JV 1-0 in a penalty kick shootout (3-0) in Columbia on Friday at the Skyhawks' great facility.
This victory, coupled with the "Killer B's" 1-0 penalty kick shootout (5-4) victory over fellow B-Team Ridge View on Wednesday, gives B-C (3-6) back-to-back wins for the first time ever.
The B-Team squad consists of inexperienced 7th-9th graders -- many of which are playing soccer for the first time!
The "Killer B's" will face the Cardinal Newman JV (4/15) on the road and the A.C. Flora JV (4/16) at The Cage next week.
