i heard lexington and summerville tied

wando is very strong. after the 4-0 win i saw over ridgeview i think wando is the likely winner of the tourney.

Wando is pretty strong. We kept them close in the first half with it being 0-0 then at the end of the 2nd half we just fell apart..
Does anyone know who spring valley is playing in the tournament? do they play wando..they should that be a challenge but i bet wando would win

Spring Valley played Dreher on friday and won 2-0 and on Saturday we play West Florence at 11:30 and Wando at 2:30

very interesting game. wando came out and had some shots on goal and were up 1-0 at half. for the most part dreher dominated the second half. there defense tended to play around w/ the ball in the back too much. this gave up posession and scoring opportunities for us.

Interesting.. Wando was supposed to be the real stuff.

Dreher would have done better if a certain player been allowed to participate!

Wando was a good team. and it was a good game. One small mental lapse by spring valley in the first minutes is what cost us. I was kinda wondering tho... can anybody honestly tell me how many Varsity Playrs wando brought down?

i'm pretty sure wando didn't bring down a single varsity player, because tim costanza and cody natale are the only underclassmen on varsity, and i don't think either of them went.

Irmo beat Wando 1-0 in the finals! A very exciting game played by both teams. Also, Irmo allowed 0 goals all weekend bc of great play by their backs and keep. great job.

does this mean that spring valley is the best jv team in the state since we beat irmo? yeah i think it does and we are the only team with an undefeated regular season. who else can say that?

yea thats good for being undefeated in season but what matters is the post season tourny and irmo rose to the occasion and SV didnt and so yall arent champs..

we still have 2 games left so i guess it wasnt a post-season tourney

We beat you. We could do it again. we would have won that tournament, or at least gone to final if you weren't so lopsided in making the brackets.. and don't tell us how an undefeated regular season is not important, You couldn't do it.

Now, now children. Let's not get our panties in a wad!!!! Congrats to the winner "IRMO". You must admit if you enjoy the game, they play it well. Please note that I pull for neither, just a soccer fan.

Many of the tourney games were ties or one goal games. I think a lot of teams played good soccer. There are more and more schools able to challenge. The teams with winning traditions continue to win but the other teams are starting to nip at their heels.

Kudos to Eddie Crosby and his Irmo team for their win. Thank you to Irmo High School for putting on a nice tournament for all of the teams to participate in.

Congrats Irmo you played well but i would congratulate the backs b/c yall had no goals (theywerent that good. But when we (socastee) played yall we didnt have our heads in the game and yall wanted it more. Nice tourney

Airport won the championship in the black division.

We wanted to win more than anything. It was our time. We had some pretty hard teams but we played with heart and won it.

A lot of the teams we played only played one or two games that day. We played friday night and woke up at 7:30 to play our first game and we played four games that day. So we sucked it up and gave it all we had and we came out on top.

To what someone said earlier, that SV lost to Wando and Irmo beat Wando, well SV lost(sorry to blame) because of a bad decision one of the players made. He didn't step to the ball and their player had a shot. Yeah, they won it fair and everything, and I will give that to them. But for Imro to say we lost to Wando, then you beat Wando, and that your the better team than SV...is wrong, because it was not really the biggest and best tournament. If I may recall, we beat Irmo in the regular season, how can you say you are better then us when you NEVER beat us face to face in head on match, you can say what you want and think it, but we beat you head on in a match. So Irmo can stop crying now.

In the championship game for the black division, Ben Lippen should have won by far... But they played one of their worst games in their season and did not bring any varsity players down to help them out..

what i wanna know is why Irmo has to hide behind a technicality. In the end the better team is decided by the day the two teams play. We beat you everytime we play you without a problem. Why do you have to hide behind the fact that we never got to beat you in the finals?
