Coach Chris Crist of Riverside HS has informed SCSOCCER.COM that the Warriors will be fielding a Junior Varsity boys team next spring.

As a Riverside alum, I find it troubling that Riverside did not have a boys' JV team last year. When was the last year they had one? Why have they not had one- no coach, lack of players? I cannot believe that either of those is true.

Jason, I can see your concern. Rest assured Riverside has not missed a season of JV. The problem was we were told early on by the county that the funds may not be there for JV soccer. I assure you that Mr. Crowley, Mr. Frost and all the other people associated with Riverside soccer are supporting our team as strong as ever and will continue to do so in the future.
