If anyone has the schedule, please post it. I hope that the weather cooperates this weekend. Traditionally this has been a pretty good kickoff for the JV season.

The weather has played havoc with the original schedule, also one of the boys' teams may not be participating. I can't find the updated schedule, Hammond plays someone at 11 am. Sorry, that's all I know.

Games played in 25 minute halves - no overtimes
Teams seeded after 2 games
WIN = 6 pts
TIE = 3 pts
SHUTOUT = 1 pt
GOALS (up to 3 per game) = 1 pt each
MAXIMUM POINTS TO BE EARNED IN ONE GAME = 10

Final (I guess Semi Finals also) -30 minute halves - if tied, two 5 minute overtime periods - if still tied, then PKs

I just received the final tournament tally from Dennis Cook at Irmo HS ... Hannah Chillag was named Most Valuable Player in the Girls JV Tournament as she led Spring Valley to the title, while Danny Cates of Dutch Fork was selected the MVP of the Boys JV Tournament after leading the Silver Foxes to the championship ... In all, 13 teams from the Midlands area participated in the one-day event at Irmo (seven girls teams and six boys squads):

GIRLS RECORDS -- Spring Valley (4-0-0), Irmo (3-1-0), Ridge View (2-1-0), Swansea (2-2-0), Barnwell (1-2-0), Dreher (0-3-0), Hammond (0-3-0).
