I don't know what jv teams are said to be very good out there so i would like some feed back from other people. I know that J.L. Mann has a crip nasty team if one can say so about soccer. There is incredible depth there and wonderful leadership. Coach Smith has learned much about soccer these past fews years and puts a wonderful team on the field each year. I do occasionally see some other coaches on the side line. maybe that's the secret to the success...
I think you have to mention Seneca and Glenn English when you talk about top JV programs. Glenn's a classy guy and keeps that program solid year in and year out.
Is it any wonder that the Seneca varsity and JL Mann varsity do so well?
Summerville boys JV is extremely good, they play well as a team and have lots of individual skill as well including Brandon Wogamon who may be the best keeper in the state. They are one of the best teams in the state and they will definitly beat wando as soon as they play.
Maybe the reason he is not on varisty is because his older brother, Todd is a senior and is on varsity. Todd is a sick nasty keeper but he taught Brandon everything and Brandon has more too so dont hate
summerville has a good program and by me being a x-student of summerville i'm a strong supporter but don't sleep Wando... i have a cousin on varsity and says about 7-8 jv players could easily play on the varsity team.
Cardinal Newman's JV has had a strong half of the year outscoring there oppounts 35-2 in olny 8 games. They have played tough teams like chapin BC and Ben lippin and havent given up any more than one goal in a game they are full of talent and will build a very good varsity , maby even better than they already have been. there defense is as tough as nails and mid field is strong and forwards can finish from just about anywhere on the feild. they will be hard to stop in there last games of the 2004 season
pendltons jv is straight but i dont now if they are better than dixie, i mean yall beat us by a lucky goal and this time we dont have half of our people playing so yall shouldnt have to play to hard
i can't compare with big schools like wando and summerville, but for a small, private school, first year program, pinewood has some major potential, if only we could get some bigger guys...
