"dont be affraid to enter"?

affraid of who? the high school league? some low country players may enter due to their counties' dual participation allowance.

For the rest of us, is there really any harm in a small group of high school players getting together to play in a 3v3 tournament? What's the big deal that would make this 3v3 event a threat to the high school league, or the players' high school teams? The 3v3 team is not a real club team, doesn't train and compete regularly, and won't exist after the 3v3 tournament. What if 5 players who want to play in this 3v3 tourn get together and play 3v3 pick-up games to get ready for this tournament. There's no coach, just players getting together to play a small game. Does that violate dual participation?

I say to all high school players: play in the 3v3 tourn--a small, meaningless fun series of small games--and enjoy yourselves. If the HS League has a problem with it, so what. You're just players enjoying the game. Isn't that why high schools have sports teams anyway--to allow students to play and enjoy the game?
